Hello,

I'm trying to move from xsupplicant-1.2.8 to the latest cvs HEAD. But
I'm having some trouble configuring xsupplicant.. I've noticed that
the syntax has changed to xml, but I found no syntax documentation
other than the example xml files.

Is there any such documentation available?

I've tried to tailor the xml files to my need, but it seems that the
syntax has changed a bit since the files were made, as <Logpath>
wasn't recognized as being valid. The supplicant also complains about
incomplete configs for the configured connections.

I'm running xsupplicant as "xsupplicant -f -i wlan0 -d A", and I
notice it eventually segfaults. I'll try to figure out what's
happening, but first I need a sane config ;)

My config goes on annex.

Thanks,
Renato

Hi Renato,

We don't currently have good documentation for the new configuration
format (we need to get some), but in the mean time I can work on
updating the configuration file examples in xsupplicant/etc.

For now, attached is an example configuration.

This configuration was generated by XSupplicant through the UI, so
it's at least well-formed.

You'll need to add in the necessary SSID and Association bits as I
created this on Mac OS X and don't have wireless capabilities on this
system, so make sure you tweak appropriately. I believe the
directives in your existing config should work, but let me know if
they don't.

I've provided both PEAP MSCHAPv2 and TTLS PAP example profiles.

Enjoy,

- Terry
